Job Summary:

The Junior Account Manager works alongside the President and Account Managers in beginning to manage end-to-end relationships with an assigned portfolio of Each Day Communications clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Copy Writing: 
    • Develop compelling written copy concepts tailored to the K-12 education space and aligned with client goals and messaging.
    • Create pitches, write copy, and ghostwrite op-eds and blog posts for earned and owned media opportunities.
    • Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather insights and ensure accurate representation of ideas.
    • Edit and proofread text to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Maintain brand consistency and accuracy in all content while upholding a high standard of quality.
  2. Project Management: 
    • Oversee and coordinate the successful execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets and core values, and high-quality standards. 
    • Be adaptable to ad hoc projects and changes, with the ability to prioritize by importance. Stay calm under changing circumstances.
  3. Team Collaboration: 
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as operations, design, and marketing to ensure seamless client experience and project execution.
    • Assemble the required resources for high-quality deliverables. 
    • Attend and participate in meetings.
  4. Industry Knowledge: 
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of copywriting, journalism, or relevant experience
  • Familiarity with K-12 public education strongly preferred; specifically Atlanta public schools 
  • Social media management experience preferred
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write in a range of styles for varied and diverse audiences
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management capabilities
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and capacity to think critically and strategically
  • Background or knowledge of communications, marketing, or related fields
  • Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and professional growth

Job Type:

Contract, Fully remote (Metro Atlanta Based)

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $25-$30/hour —  5 – 20 hours/week
